"Why try to blend in when you were born to Stand Out".
It is not just my brand's slogan , but also philosophy behind my design aesthetics. I design clothes that is sexy,elegant, unique , show off your body and make you the center of attention at any occasion. Ever since I was a little girl I was making clothes for myself and my family. About 14 years ago I came to United States by myself with only $40 in my pocket hoping to get a piece of the famous "American Dream".I had my fair share of obstacles, from being homeless and sleeping in a park to working over 80 hours a week at a fast food place. 
Over the years I got 2 business degrees,  had my clothes sold in boutiques all over the country, showed my collections during fashion weeks,including Dc Fashion week, SBFW in New York, DC Swim week, participated in numerous charity runways shows and fundraisers.
I was published in various 
US magazines ( Emerge, Fashion Most, Creative Knitting, Sheeba,Belle New York and more) and won a few  design contests.( "Best Costume Award" at Mrs. United Nations 2016, "Most Whimsical costume" at Mrs. America 2016, "Best Costume Award" at  Mrs. Maryland United States 2017. "Best Costume Award" at Mrs. DC America America 2016)
My dresses and swimsuits were also on Bravo TV show " Real Housewives of Potomac".
I was also on Lifetime TV show "Say Yes to the Prom", was a guest of a few talk shows such as " Good Day Washington on WUSA-9, NBC News," Society Moms talk show, and was honored to be a judge at Miss Maryland United States, Miss Viet Fest 2015 and Miss New York International 2015 pageants.
I am also a host and executive producer of my own TV show "Design Your Life with Katya Avdeev", and you can watch full episodes here and on my YouTube channel as well as We-Are-TV smartphone apps. 
Having all sorts of fashion related experience I realized that my favorite  thing to create was one-of-a-kind couture gowns for women.I am very passionate about creating that unique gorgeous outfit that my clients would be proud to wear and feel very special wearing them.I also have limited edition lines of ready-to-wear clothing. My inventory changes often and I never duplicate my designs: when an item is sold out, it is sold out, I wont make a second run, regardless of how successful the first one was.
In February 2017 I also won the title of Mrs. Maryland United States. 
 My current clients are Washington DC celebrities, pageant contestants,models,actresses, socialites, and everyone who wants a truly one-of-a-kind dress for a special occasion.
As you might have noticed, my designs are not for shy people. They are loud, modern, bright and most importantly  UNIQUE.
